  5.6. David Finds a Sample of Customers (3 min.)

David has identified and written down his hypotheses and his assumptions. Now it’s time for him to test them with potential customers. His first step is to find a list of potential customers that he could contact.

Generating a list of existing restaurants was easy for David to do. Finding a list of entrepreneurs who want to start a food truck, however, was not so easy. So David decided to conduct a smoke test with a fake advertisement. Hopefully, it will help him create his own list of potential customers. Below is the advertisement David used in his smoke test.
