Scott Case was the founding Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of, an internet travel service that reached $1 billion in annual sales in less than 24 months. As CTO, Case was responsible for building the technology that enabled Priceline's hyper growth.

In this video, Case explains the importance of being clear about your assumptions, testing them with customers, and being willing to stop pursuing an idea if the feedback strongly suggests that it will not work.
